The Tangletastic Challenge Wk 39 | Zentangle - Black & White Bliss

Hello, Tanglers! 🎉

It's Week 39 of the Tangletastic Challenge✨

This week's 'challenge' is Twist & Tangle,and we are going to be playing with Pattern Layers.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to layer one tangle over another to create depth and texture.

Here are samples from Chris (Govan) & Pauline (Herbert)

Chris created this lovely layered tile using browns, blacks and white highlights on a tan tile. The tangles she used were 'Marasu', 'Icanthis', 'Crescent Moon', 'Moonpie', 'Hollis' and 'Tipple' (All patterns by Zentangle HQ).

Pauline used 'Flukes', 'Jonqual', and 'Purk'. She said, 'I am continually being inspired by older tangles, as I revisit the start of my journey through the Zentangle landscape 5 years ago'.

Remember, the Tangletastic Challenge isn't a 'challenge' per se. It's meant to be a fun tangling 'challenge' to help you develop your Zentangle tiles, so don't overthink it. It's all about playing. Your tiles can be as simple as a 2" x 2" square.

Once you've created your tile, please share it in the Tangletastic group and then add it to the relevant album in the group (our Tangle Gallery)
